Solution
Our current product line is focused on solar farms, large commercial installations, transportation needs, safe city projects, home land security applications and the energy sector (pipeline, oil/gas wells). Our system designed for flat mounting on the ground, on poles or a roof (as an example, solar electricity is priced differently delivered to the grid on poles, the ground or on a roof in Italy). Our system is integrated to intelligent buildings or "green" buildings via SCADA protocol, as well as integrated with one complex with facial recognition, license plate recognition, or audio/video/data/GPS/GPRS devices.
Solar electric systems can be used any place where there is sun, which means everywhere. Whether it's cost-effective to install a system, however, is another matter. In any case, we are conducting a feasibility study and comprehensive research in order to evaluate the "follow the sun" tactic, cloudiness, and the efficiency of using solar concentrators by Solar 18.
Solar 18 concentrators are the most efficient in an area of high sun concentration in the U.S.: California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada; in Latin America: Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina; in Europe: France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. The system is designed to feed substantial volumes of electricity into the grid, as well as increase the kilowatt hours of electricity generated and, at the same time, reduce the cost (by using new Solar 18 technology) of installation (compare to standard PV-based systems).
